Came across this discussion group article in another group and thought
it to be quite interesting. Someone wanted to know if they should use
a registry cleaner.

Mark Russinovich is the(Author of the "Bible", Windows Internals,
co-founder of Winternals and Sysinternals, and since both companies
were bought by Microsoft, now a senior Microsoft employee)
Granted these are there opinions, but they got me wondering whether a
registry cleaner is really necessary on XP? Love to hear other
opinions on this one.
