I need someone to help explain why I am getting the error "Failed to
ChDir() to home and root directory". I surfed around the internet for
many hours already. I learned some things, but not enough to fix this
problem.
I do know, that the error only occurs, when I try to access drives on
the LAN via FTP, which I have mounted as root. If I change my mount
point to a local folder (on C:\), I don't get the error anymore. But,
I need to set up a my mount point to point to a folder on the LAN (to
which I already have read and write access).
p.s. I already surfed to http://www.warftp.org/guides/netshare.html.
That did not fix the problem. I have tried setting up WarFTP with a
logon user on the domain, who has access rights to my LAN - but it
still fails. Besides, I am running Windows 2003 server, and NOT
Windows 2000, which is what that do***entation is for.
Jarle,
I donated $50 to your cause, in return for supplying us with your
product for several years already. However the guy who set it up
before me is gone now. Would greatly appreciate your help. If I
cannot fix this myself, we are buying IIS, or some other commercial
product. I only have so much patience with freeware.
